Terms of service

Last updated October 6, 2026.

These terms govern your use of EbookMit. By creating an account or using the demo you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

EbookMit helps you research ebook topics, generate book content and illustrations with AI models, and export files for publishing. Features may change as the product develops; we will not remove a paid feature during a period you have already paid for.

2. Your account

You must give a valid email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

Demo accounts are temporary, shared nothing with other visitors and are deleted daily together with their content.

3. Credits, plans and payments

Generation is paid with credits. Credit prices for each action are shown in the app and on the pricing page. Plans add credits every month for as long as they are active; credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits do not expire while your account is open, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; card subscriptions stay active until the end of the paid period. Credits for a task that fails, or that you cancel before it starts, are refunded to your balance automatically.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it. Where consumer law gives you a right to a refund, nothing in these terms limits it.

4. Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in the books you create and in the material you upload. EbookMit claims no ownership of your books. You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service for you.

AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in some countries, including the United States. You are responsible for checking that what you publish is accurate, lawful and original, and for meeting the rules of the stores where you sell it, including Amazon KDP's requirement to disclose AI-generated content.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to create content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, deceives readers (for example by impersonating a real author), sexualises minors, promotes violence or hatred, or gives dangerous medical, legal or financial instructions. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, or to get around credit limits.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where possible we will tell you why and let you export your books first.

6. AI output

AI models can be wrong. Generated text and images are provided as drafts for you to review. We do not guarantee that any book will be accepted by a store, will sell, or is free of errors.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using EbookMit at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@ebookmit.com. Unused credits are not refunded when you close an account, except where the law requires it.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
