How it works

Three steps from keyword to upload

Each long task runs in the background with live progress, so you can close the tab and come back to a finished chapter.

  1. Find a topic with demand

Start from a keyword. Ideas are measured against Etsy listings and Google Trends, and every number is labelled as measured, derived or an AI estimate, with the raw response one click away.

  2. Generate, then make it yours

Edit the outline, then watch each chapter being written. A second AI editor checks length, reading level and repetition. Rewrite any section or picture on its own; nothing is final until you say so.

  3. Export files that pass the checks

Download the KDP print interior, the full wrap-around cover with the spine sized to your page count, an EPUB validated by EPUBCheck, a screen PDF and an editable Word file.

Open “Pip and the Sleepy Lighthouse”

About 15 pages at 8.5 × 8.5 in. Approximate layout; exact pagination is set when you export.

Pages 2–3 of 15
Golden evening on a grassy cliff above the sea. Pip the fox cub, in his striped scarf, smiles and waves at Wren the seagull flying past. Behind him stand a red and white lighthouse and a small cottage, and the sun sinks into the water.

Pip was a little fox with a stripy scarf. He lived on a windy cliff, right next to the old lighthouse. Every evening he waved hello to the sea.

Pip holds out a small bunch of pink flowers at the door of a white cottage with a red roof. Grandma Hazel the badger, in her yellow raincoat and round glasses, sneezes into a checked handkerchief. The lighthouse stands on a hill behind.

Grandma Hazel, the lighthouse keeper, had a sniffly cold. Ah... ah... ACHOO! Pip brought her sea pinks to cheer her up.

Topic discovery

Evidence you can check, not hype

Every idea comes with the numbers behind it and a label that says where each number came from.

No scraping: data comes from the official Etsy Open API and from Google Trends through SerpApi. Sources can be switched off, and ideas still come with labelled AI estimates.

  • Measured

Straight from the source: active Etsy listings for the phrase, favourites on the top listings, Google search interest over 12 months.

  • Derived

Computed from measured numbers, with an explanation of how: demand and competition scores, the direction of interest.

  • AI estimate

The model's judgement, labelled as such: angle, audience and how well the idea fits an ebook.

Four kinds of books

Built for what actually sells

Each type has its own page range, structure, reading level and layout rules.

  • Flat illustration of a bright kitchen counter: a wooden cutting board with a carrot, sliced carrot and tomatoes, a knife, a head of broccoli, a jar of sauce and a small potted plant, beside a stack of three glass meal-prep containers filled with grains, greens, tomatoes and protein. A wall calendar with checked-off days hangs on the tiled wall.

Export

Files ready for the upload form

The export checklist shows trim size, page count, bleed, embedded fonts and the EPUB validation result before you download.

  • KDP trim sizes

6 × 9 in, 8.5 × 11 in, 8.5 × 8.5 in, with 0.125″ bleed when art reaches the edge and inside margins set by page count.

  • Spine to the page

The full cover is sized from the real page count and paper type, with spine text only when the book is thick enough.

  • EPUB that validates

Every EPUB 3 is checked with EPUBCheck, the industry validator; errors are shown before you upload.

  • Fonts embedded

Open-licence fonts are embedded in every PDF and the export checklist confirms it.

  • Screen and Word too

A screen PDF with clickable contents for Etsy or a lead magnet, and an editable Word file.

  • Publishing rules in view

Questions

Before you start

What does EbookMit actually produce?

A complete book: an editable outline, every chapter written, illustrations drawn in one consistent style, a front, back and spine cover, and the files you upload to sell it.

You get a KDP print-ready interior PDF (6×9, 8.5×11 or 8.5×8.5 inches, with bleed when images reach the edge), a full cover PDF with the spine width calculated from the page count and paper, an EPUB 3 checked with EPUBCheck, a screen PDF and an editable Word file.

Can I try it without signing up?

Yes. “Try the demo” opens a private demo account in one click, with sample books already written so you can read them as page spreads, edit them and try generation with a small credit allowance. Demo accounts are deleted every day at midnight UTC.

When you create a free account you receive 20 welcome credits once you confirm your email.

How does topic discovery find ideas that sell?

You enter a seed keyword. The AI suggests niches and angles, and each idea is then measured where you have data sources switched on: the number of active Etsy listings and their favourites (Etsy Open API), and search interest over the last 12 months plus rising related searches (Google Trends through SerpApi).

Every number is labelled: measured (straight from the source, with the raw response one click away), derived (computed from measured numbers) or AI estimate. Nothing is presented as data when it is a guess.

Is the writing any good?

Each chapter is written with the outline, the previous chapters and your notes in front of the model, then reviewed by a second AI editor against the book's rules: length, reading level, tone, repetition and originality. Sections that fail the review are rewritten before you see them.

You stay the editor: change any sentence, rewrite one section with your own instructions, regenerate a single illustration or reorder chapters without redoing the whole book. Every version is kept and can be restored.

Do I have to tell Amazon the book was made with AI?

Yes. Amazon KDP asks you to disclose AI-generated text, images or translations when you publish or republish a book, even if you edited them afterwards. The Export screen explains what to answer and links to KDP's content guidelines.

How do credits work?

Each step costs a few credits (an outline, a chapter, an illustration, a cover, a topic search); the exact prices are shown on the pricing page and before every action. Exports are included at no charge.

If a task fails or you cancel it before it starts, its credits are refunded automatically. Credits never expire while your account is open.
